John Paul Gaultier has brought back leggings... Life is comfortable.

"I not only do makeup... I design jewelry as well" she said... models nipping at her hair in hopes of scoring a sparkly "Hair-Jewel" of their own.

"How cool!" I said. I, uh... don't just get coffee"... "I'm a stylist." "Cream and sugar?"

And that's how I first met the sparkly, pink wonder that is now known to legions of fans around the world as, Tarina Tarantino.

Her list of accolades and creations are as long as her hair is pink. Red carpet royalty including Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Pink, Katy Perry and Heidi Klum are all fans.
There have been wildly successful collaborations with companies including Disney and Paul Mitchell. She is one of a very select few to have been asked to create a collection for Hello Kitty. And "PINK HEAD" was born.

And that's just the beginning...Signature boutiques in New York, Los Angeles, Milan, Japan and Korea... And even her own "BARBIE".

The cherry on her shimmering cupcake is her luxurious beauty line sold exclusively at makeup-mecca...Sephora.   Finally bringing her full circle from her makeup artist roots.

Just behind the pink and orange curtain is her (devilishly handsome) husband
and business partner, Alfonso Campos. (to-die-for Wedding Photos here).
His brilliant ambition coupled with his creative genius have taken them from their tiny apartment/studio to a downtown Los Angeles iconic building known as... "The Sparkle Factory".

Together they created their two favorite little gems, Chloe and Olivia and live in a Happily-Ever-After World in the hills of Los Angeles.

So as a creative crackerjack, a beauty mogul, wife, mother and Queen of her very own Sparkling Empire...How could we not ask...

Best Gift You Have Ever Given?

I used an "Insider Contact" to get my friend, the amazing photographer, Steve Erle, an Exclusive Club Membership that he wanted but had a 3,000 person waiting list. The best thing about it was that for once I was able to give him something that he couldn't get for himself..which is tough to do for the person who has everything!

My Serum launch: I am currently developing a facial serum that I created and use on people sitting in my makeup chair. It's a primer serum called "Ultimate Make Up Prep". I'm excited about launching as soon as it's ready. It's still being tweaked by the chemists but I can tell you the name of the company will be: "Heir Atelier".
Launch a Non-Profit. I am working on launching a non-profit this summer that will work to promote positive change in the world through cool, clever PSA's with celebrities. I'm really excited about that!

Best Advice or Something You've Learned in Your Career?

Be present and truly listen to people
Be gracious to everyone and treat everyone like they are "someone". You never know who someone is, who they know or who they will become...so just be cool to everyone!
Give of your time and help others.
Find a mentor, it will change your world and remember always to mentor others.
Keep learning all of the time.
Go outside of your comfort zone...it's where the Magic happens!
